BIOGRAFIEN BIOGRAPHIESSEBASTIAN MEISE
Geboren 1976 in Tirol, Österreich. Er studierte Malerei und Philosophie bevor er zum Regiestudium an die Filmakademie Wien wechselte. Während des Studiums entstehen einige Kurzspielfilme, sowie dokumentarische Arbeiten in Zusammenarbeit mit Thomas Reider. Sein erster langer Dokumentarfilm ‚Outing‘ steht in enger Verbindung mit seinem mehrfach ausgezeichneten Spielfilmdebut ‚Stillleben‘. Sebastian Meise lebt und arbeitet in Wien.
Born in Tirol, Austria, in 1976. He first studied Painting and Philosophy, later Directing at the Vienna Film Academy. During his studies, he produced several short films and documentaries together with Thomas Reider. His first feature-length documentary ‚Outing‘ is closely linked to his multi-award-winning film debut ‚Stillleben‘ (Still Life). Sebastian Meise lives and works in Vienna.

THOMAS REIDER
Geboren 1980. Studierte Publizistik und Theaterwissenschaften an der Universität Wien. Anschließendes Studium Buch und Dramaturgie an der Filmakademie Wien. Erste Zusammenarbeiten mit Sebastian Meise entstehen während der gemeinsamen Studienzeit. Es folgen Kurzfilme, dokumentarische Arbeiten für Kino und Fernsehen, eine TV-Mini-Serie sowie der erste Kinofilm ‚Stillleben‘. Thomas Reider lebt und arbeitet als freier Autor und Regisseur in Wien.
Born in 1980, he studied Journalism and Dramatics at the University of Vienna, followed by studies of Script and Dramaturgy at the Vienna Film Academy. He first worked together with Sebastian Meise during their studies. Together, they produced short films, documentary works for cinema and television, a TV-mini-series and the feature film ‚Stillleben‘ (Still Life). Thomas Reider lives in Vienna and works as an independent writer and director.
